I drew this little Valentines themed image becuase on a message board I frequent there was a little event where all the members would submit a Christmas themed image and it would be put into a wallpaper made up of all the images, only one person submited an image and it wasn't me, so I vowed to do a Valentines one. Hense the image.
OK.. I will try to ignore for the moment that my scanner is a crappy piece of um.. crap as is evidenced by the shadow lines.. Anyhoo.. I don't think this came out too bad.. I like the hand holding the bow, though the one on the string could do with some improving.
It's true you don't miss something untill it's gone. I lost my French Curves set a couple of monthes back.. inking long lines is not fun without them.. look at the bow and the top parts of the wings.. eww. This is also the first time I've finshed feathered wings by the way.. I basically ripped them straight out of Love Hina (Tsuroko's bird).. they don't seem to bad.. must practice more. I know I have more to say but nothing springs to mind. Oh yeah, I think I meant a bit overboard on the shadows inside her sleeves.. wee bit too dark.
